The Gödöllő Town Library and Information Centre has won the following prizes and awards during its operation of the past years:

1996: The Library of the year award from the Ministry of Culture and Education

2002: Universal access building of the year awarded both to the library and to those participating in the work by the Architectural Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

2002: 1^st place in the Pest county architecture award to the company carrying out the high-quality library construction work, Architekton Építő és Műemlékfelújító Rt., from the Pest County Authority

2003: The library was given the For Gödöllő Award by the Body of Representatives of the Town of Gödöllő

2003: The Local Authority of the Town of Gödöllő won 1^st prize in the Library-Friendly Local Authority competition organised by the Ministry of National Cultural Heritage

2007: The Gödöllő Town Library and Information Centre was given the REGINA Child-Friendly Environment 2007 award

2010: The Library won the title Family-Friendly Library 2010 inthe competition jointly organised by the National Association of Large Families and the National Széchényi Library
