The rules on the use of the Info-point on the ground floor are different to the rules for the rest of the library. This is a public area, its services can be used by anyone. It is not necessary to apply for a reader’s card to use the Info-point, where more than 180 periodicals are available for visitors to browse through; there are also two computers, several databases and the following services:

Our collection contains dailies, weeklies and other periodicals published monthly or less frequently, covering the fields of politics, social sciences, economy, nature and entertainment. Some of our periodicals may be borrowed – 3 periodicals at a time for a period of 1 week – but for this you need to apply for a reader’s card.
Some of our bound periodicals are located on the gallery in the adult reference library, and some of them are kept in the storeroom, ask the librarians to get them for you.

At the Info-point we primarily provide information on local public life and information of public interest. Here you can read train or bus timetables, you can find out about what events are being organised and at what time. You can also find an answer here to your questions relating to tourism, businesses or even the European Union.
We also carry out media monitoring and Internet searches on request. There is a computer, which can be used by readers to do their own searches. We also have law books and statutes available on DVD. You can borrow 3 books at a time available for loan at the Info-point for a period of 1 week.
In our online public interest and library information service we will answer your questions within 24 hours.
