A Chili Phantom Game az Ivetagr projekt angol nyelvtanulási modulja.
Köszöntelek a Chili Fantom Játékban, mellyel egy titokzatos bűntény nyomait kutatva, átutazhatod egész Európát! A játékot az Iberika Nyelviskola tanárai fejlesztették ki az IVETAGR Projekt keretében. A játék egy teljesen új oktatási metóduson alapszik: a nyelvtanulók egy közösségi oldalakra kitalált játékot játszanak, miközben angolul tanulnak.
A Chili Fantom Játék magában foglal minden olyan tudnivalót, melyet az angol nyelv A1 szintjéhez el kell sajátítani. A játékosok száraz grammatikai feladatok és megerőltető foglalkozások nélkül, játszva, online tanulják a nyelvet. A játékot egy játékvezető irányítja, aki feladatokkal, információkkal és megoldásokkal látja el a játékosokat. Egy angol nyelvű útmutató tartalmazza az összes információt, feladatot, linket és megoldást, melyekre a játékvezetőnek a játék irányításához szüksége van. A baloldali menüsávban juttok el az egyes fejezetekhez.
Az első fejezetben Budapestről Berlinbe, majd végül Bécsbe juthattok el. Jó szórakozást kívánunk Nektek az angol tanításhoz és a Chili Fantom utáni kutatáshoz!
Chili Phantom Game - Chapter 1

Welcome to the Chili Phantom Game! All players are agents of the Hungarian Secret Service. Together, the secret agents are following the trail of a mysterious clues leading them through 18 European capitals. The Hungarian Secret Service has assigned the agents the task of solving a baffling phenomenon that has been observed in several EU capitals in the last few weeks.
In the most diverse places in Bratislava, Riga, Warsaw and Athens, identical red chili peppers (with a cryptic white lettered text written on them, as discovered later), have been found. Some of these chili peppers have even been found in what were thought to be impenetrable government buildings! As of yet, no fingerprints have been found on the peppers. However, it has been confirmed that the chilies originated in Hungary. And so the Hungarian Secret Service is on the job!
To assure that the case will be solved as quickly as possible, the chief of the secret service (the superagent) has arranged for even more of his top agents to be assigned to “Mission Chili Pepper”. He has carefully chosen the best and the brightest in the country for the job. The fact that none of the new agents speak English is no problem. In fact, it is an advantage. While the agents are traveling through Europe they should be learning English and preparing themselves for further international positions in the future. But, the chief has arranged for the agents to take an English crash course in Budapest before they begin their investigation. This is where our game “The chili phantom” begins: in Budapest with lesson 1.1. After completing the first Chapter, the story will go on in Chapter 2.
Chili Phantom Game - Chapter 2

In Chapter 2 of the Chili Phantom Game, the agents will begin their journey in Lisbon, Portugal where they will travel to various locations such as Bairro Alto and Belem Tower. Along the way, they will learn about telling the time and talking about prices.
From Lisbon, the agents will travel to Madrid, Spain where they will find further clues to help them on their mission. Here, they will learn places and objects in a house and how to ask questions about these objects and places.
The last part of Chapter 2 takes place in Valletta, Malta where they will learn about daily routines, present simple, and wh- questions. An important package is also found that will lead them on to the next destination and Chapter 3 of the Chili Phantom Game. Enjoy!
Chili Phantom Game - Chapter 3

In Chapter 3, the agents investigate in Stockholm, Sweden, trying to find the Chili Phantom before the next case happens. In order to uncover more information about our suspects, the agents learn how to describe and ask about characteristics, appearances and personal information. During their investigation they nearly catch the Phantom, but he or she flees in the dark and all the agents have is a bunch of hair.
Super Agent 123 calls his agents to Helsinki, where another chili pepper was found along with a feather from a very rare parrot - the chili parrot! The agents have to investigate various European Zoos in order to find out which ones have chili parrots. Along the way, the agents learn vocabulary about animals and how to use the plurals of nouns.
Then the agents have to travel to Copenhagen, where not only chili parrots live in the Zoo, but also an employee has disappeared. In order to be able to interview the Zoo director, the agents get some interview training. With the help of the director's answers, they uncover the identity of the missing employee and follow him to ... - Chapter 4!

Chili Phantom Game - Chapter 4

At the start of Chapter 4, the agents must follow their suspect to Dublin by plane. In order to be able to observe this person, they practice vocabulary about free time activities and present simple. This enables them to describe the daily routine of the suspicious person. Luckily, after recording a secret conversation between him and a woman in the park, the agents discover that he is going to take a boat to England.
The agents follow the suspect via boat trip to Holyhead’s train station. Suddenly, they are surrounded by a crowd of school children and get separated from the suspect. They watch him onto a train for London, which leaves just seconds after he boards it. The agents take the next train and learn something about frequency adverbs during the journey.
When they arrive in London, the Chili Phantom is already in the News - another Chili Pepper was found in the British Parliament! The agents are too late again! Objects, which were found at the crime scene, lead the agents to another suspect. They practice Personal and Object Pronouns to help them follow the new trail. Where will we travel next? Join us in Chapter 5!
Chili Phantom Game - Chapter 5

The agents have been in Tallinn for two weeks now, but so far nothing suspicious has happened. Super Agent 123 suggests that they should paste some wanted-posters with the parrot's image all over the city, because the parrot always seems to appear with the chili peppers. The agents receive a phone call from an elderly couple who have seen a suspicious woman with a parrot walking around the Estonian parliament. Thanks to an interview with the old couple, the agents have a new suspect. In the suspect’s Hotel room, they find a map with important hints about past and upcoming chili pepper cases.
Before the agents follow this new lead, Super Agent 123 wants them to come together for a team meeting in Ljubljana. The purpose of this meeting is to improve team work and get to know each other better. Therefore, the agents must practise a lot of vocabulary and grammar to present themselves to each other. Afterwards, they take the time to decode some white letters found on the chilli peppers.
The agents travel to Prague, where another chili pepper has already appeared. This time, the chili pepper is not only found inside the parliament, but also all over the city as a sticker symbol that says: "Where are all the chili parrots?" These stickers appear at the same time in nearly all European capitals. The case appears in the international media and everyone is talking about the chili phantom. Again, the agents receive phone calls and they have to analyse them and decide which one includes important information. The information leads them to ... - the final Chapter 6!

In the final and most exciting chapter of the Chili Phantom Game, the agents travel to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and finally Rome. As they race to the end of their journey, they will learn about the past tense, past simple positive, questions about “how much” and “how many”, and important vocabulary for their investigation. All of the English skills that they have gained along their trip across Europe are put to the test as the agents attempt to reveal the secret identity of the Chili Phantom.
With the help of Super Agent 123 and English teacher Kristin, our agents will put together all of the pieces of the puzzle and finally solve the mystery behind all of the Chili Peppers. We don't want to reveal the surprising secret here - you will have to find that out for yourself. Please enjoy the dramatic conclusion of the Chili Phantom Game!
